JSL’s design team has experience designing all types of towers, including self-supported HVAC and HVDC lattice towers, guyed towers, and tall river crossing towers across the globe. Their USP lies in optimizing tower designs without compromising safety.

Our engineering department, in cooperation with the design team, continually innovates and adopts new techniques to streamline manufacturing processes while meeting the stringent technical requirements of all utilities and governing bodies.

Major capabilities of design and engineering function are:

• Analysis and design of transmission towers using PLS-Tower/i- Tower software, to achieve optimized steel consumption in tower
• 2D and 3D detailing using AUTOCAD / BOCAD software.
• Open-cast and pile foundation designs using in-house developed software
• Profiling and tower spotting using PLS CADD and GLOBAL Mapper software
• Generation of stringing chart for stringing of conductor, Earth wire, and OPGW from PLS CADD.
• Development of detailing of 1200 KV tower.
• Adoption of stone column design for 765 KV D/C line in liquefiable soil in the earthquake zone of Kachchh – Gujarat.
